The L.A. based label describes itself as a 70’s love child born of our deep appreciation for all things vintage and a non mass produced philosophy. Drawing inspiration from old photographs, books and films they try to create something worth passing on to future generations. Something that has slipped our focus too much these days.
The head of the label - L.A. native Chloe Chippendale - started her career as a stylist in 2011. Chippendale would use all of her own vintage pieces while styling. „My grandmother owned a vintage shop in London in the 1960’s, so it seems that a fascination for vintage is in my blood”, says Chippendale.
The vision for the Autumn/Winter 2015/16 collection „California Dreamin’” was to create clothing that exudes sunshine and happiness. Distinct silhouettes, which include bell-bottoms, suede dresses, denim jumpsuits and ponchos come in shades of mustard, brown, blue, and rust. The collection is very much inspired by the onset of Fall in the California canyons, in which the label was created. The lookbook was shot by none other than Henrik Purienne.
