Photographer Nick van Tiem traveled across Iran to explore the unfamiliar, foreign and far off land. What he got to know was the life behind the curtains. The people of Iran, who the young photographer met along his journey nullified his prejudices of a hostile and anti-western country.
What he experienced was a country, where everything associated with western culture happens behind the walls. Especially one significant experience stayed on Nick van Tiem’s mind, which brings us hope. It’s his personal encounter with a young spiritual generation, whose will to feel alive might be stronger then elsewhere.
