Ziyi Le
Ziyi Le is a photographer based in Hangzhou whose work explores themes of displacement, memory, and the emotional textures of unfamiliar environments. Initially trained in fashion design, he turned to long-form photographic storytelling―focusing on the quiet resilience of migration and marginality.
His photobook New Comer was published in 2024 by Imageless, following a solo exhibition at Place M, Tokyo. In 2023, he was awarded the LEICA Oskar Barnack Newcomer Award. Le’s work has been shown at the Jimei x Arles International Photo Festival, Wiesbadener Fototage, and Three Shadows Xiamen, and is held in the Young Portfolio Collection of the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts.
